The Saturday evening is a chance for participants to let their hair down with the traditional Tensions of Europe evening, bringing a party atmosphere to the blast furnaces!
The dinner party costs 25 €/person. Please make sure to book it when registering for the conference.

Guided tour of the blast furnace
Blast furnace A is open to the public and offers access to the 40m high viewing platform (a climb of 180 steps!) at the furnace top where you can enjoy a breath-taking view of the new urban districts of Belval and its surroundings. As you walk along the marked path you will see a number of information panels that will tell you more about the functioning of the blast furnace and about how cast iron is produced.
The English-speaking tour is scheduled for Friday, 28 June 2019 from 11.00 to 12.30 for 2 groups of max. 50 persons. Departure is at 10.45 sharp at the registration desk from where we will walk to the blast furnace.
The visit costs 6 €/person. Please make sure to book it when registering for the conference.
